I can truly say that I knew pretty much all of those just from the first time I met her at King Street. Your daughters rock. Your whole family rocks. Courtney, may this year be blessed far and above every year so far.

While enduring yet another sleepless night, I stumbled upon this site. I typed in "help for the discouraged" and found what I needed. I thank the Lord for the message that He has written through you. Blessings to you and your family.

Cherie~
Thanks so much for sharing your heart, God's word to you/us as mothers, and your family's personal experience. May God continue to be glorified in your life and in the lives of your children as you seek to walk in His light!

It's so nice to have you"back" Cherie! I can't wait to hear more about what you learned at the conference.

I loved this blog post! We supported Courtney, and before praying, we discussed contacting you and Jon to see if you agreed with the direction she was going. However, we prayed, and I kept getting the feeling that this was COURTNEY - genuine, honest, trustworthy. I had peace about supporting her. Paul agreed. Isn't it neat that we DIDN'T contact you, but allowed God to guide us and then we learned after the fact about your mis-givings. As a parent, I totally understand where you are coming from. I'm praying NOW for me to trust in God for their futures and that they will all do the things that He has in mind for them.

We have been blessed by Courtney's blog (Megan follows it as well), and by her beautifully written note to us in response to our gift. She really is amazing. It looks like God has other ideas for a direction for raising up young leaders. So neat that your girls are on the fore front of it.

Thanks for sharing! I always come away learning something from you.

I do not complain as much as I murmur...Murmur is a nice word for a com, plaining spirit but it is more subtle but all the same destructive to a life of faith, trusing God for His moment by moment provision!

You are such a wonderful sister-in-Christ -- always encouraging and building others up! Your message certainly lifted me up today, as I was feeling overwhelmed by our current storm. But I will not worry but pray, I will take courage in God's past deliverances in my life and praise Him for His blessings in this trial.

Thank you for sharing your heart and love for the Lord with me and others. I have shared your blog with other friends going through similar trials and they have been encouraged by your words as well. You all have been in our thoughts and prayers and I just know that God is using you in a mighty and powerful way in His kingdom. God bless you richly and thank you for being an awesome influence in my life!!!!
