Happy Thanksgiving! For the past 22 days I have made it my goal to daily write about something I am thankful for. This simple task has radically changed my heart as I enter the holiday season experiencing more peace and gratitude.
I was blessed to enjoy today with Jon, Cayley, and my wonderful in-laws. We also included Andy, Matt, and Glen, three transplants from Sacramento, CA without family close by. Our feast included fried turkey, spicy brisket, mac & cheese, mirliton casserole, cornbread dressing, holiday sweet potatoes, fruit salad, and lemon pie. We played Apples to Apples and are now watching Elf.

Yummy holiday sweet potato casserole a family tradition for our family.
Enjoying our Thanksgiving feast.
A few Thanksgiving decorations we enjoy.
A fun way to end the day watching Elf, love this movie.
I am thankful for sunny warm days especially around the holidays. I am definitely not a cold weather gal nor do I like days on end of rain which was a huge consideration in our not moving to Portland. I get so energized by talking a 3 mile morning walk on a cool day after having my quite time and coffee.
I have so much to be thankful for.
